Was only looking for 2 of the White Ambiance for outdoor porch lights, but may aswell get these now as at least the colour is there when/if I need it. Be good to create a bit of atmosphere at Christmas/Halloween etc. Now my only decision is 2 of these or the starter set for £86.99 and sell the hub, effectively giving me 3 bulbs for around £55!

Just need to point out I think this is the older model not the latest richer colours version. Still a good price.

Yes I think they are the older bulbs, the newer bulbs have been a fiver more, I still think it's a good deal but I would rather spend the extra fiver as some of the colours on this bulb are quite weak..

Yes - to an extent, to get the full benefit you need a Philips bridge to control them

Seems a lot for a light bulb. You can get a colour changing led bulb from home bargains for about 8 quid if you're not bothered about connecting to your smartphone.
