Hi great deal fantastic camera , I'm after something a bit more compact myself is the double cash back apply to all Panasonic cameras and finally, could anyone recommend any particular model ? .
Good deal if you don't have amex (otherwise Jessops is a lot cheaper), I picked mine up from Jessops yesterday for net £200.

How many AMEX cards did you use for the 3 separate transactions, and have you already received the Amex credits?

Really tempted by this but I think the standard lense is only the equivalent of 3x optical zoom? Extra lenses are more expensive than the camera by the looks of things. I would like a 14-140 lense instead as it is more versatile, although more bulky. Is there any incentive to upgrade from a Sony RX100 if I couldn't afford additional lenses? I can see that this has 4K video but I sadly don't know enough about cameras to decide.
Voted hot as it seems to be the cheapest yet.

I too have the sony RX100 v1 and am looking at this, not sure though. The big plus for me with the Sony is is is so small and a fast lens at widest

RX100 v1 is still a great camera, it is slightly smaller and lighter than the newer versions, which is a bonus imo. This has better image quality and handling though (plus a reasonable EVF) you can also add some great lenses to make it even better. As you can use any 4/3 lens, it's worth looking at Olympus lenses also as these tend to be a bit cheaper.

Buying a camera is such a minefield, very lucky to own the RX100 as a lot of the photographs I've taken with it have turned out really well (complete amateur but enjoy taking holiday and walking photos in the Peaks).

It is a great camera, if it rains just stick it in your pocket. Still tempted, will have a think
