Found these in our local Asda Boldon - I must stress there are probably none left at this point as a couple were looking at the last one left on the shelf when we left the isle. Thought I'd post this as it may be national and help someone out.....
I know some will tear this apart but its DLP, has a 10,000hr lamp life and is native 3D meaning it can accept a 3D signal from a BluRay player, Sky Box etc without the need of a converter box. No glasses included but DLP-Link glasses can be had for £6.49 a pair on ebay (Item 152103032447 - UK Stock)
ok for the money but 3d at that resolution will not be pretty

Its not too bad - remember 3D is half the resolution anyway if it's side-by-side or top-bottom. I watched the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony in 3D on an SVGA projector, it was fine.

Nothing will be pretty at that res. Also the 10000hour lamp life will only be achievable with the brightness set to eco. If you must have a projector and only have £79 then get this, but don't be surprised if you're disappointed.

I'm after one of these, perfect spec for presentations. (No need for wide-screen nor high res)
Unfortunately no asda in the North West stocks them :disappointed:

This is decent value for travelling around with. 3000 lumens but not 1080p. Price wise I'm happy to compromise when I'd only be using it for presentations. I'm going to buy one if I find it instore. Thanks OP just what I was looking for

Not 1080p? It's not even 720p!

Great for the old boring PowerPoint presentations in work

Active glasses shouldn't be half the resolution. Flicks between the full resolution image. Though not best at this resolution. All depends on how big an image you projecting.

The out of focus picture on the box tells a story.
