wrap up warm if it's a night journey as northern rail let's there passengers freeze with no heating on.

Really? The old pacers I commute on can't have the heating turned off as it's the radiator for the engine, which makes summer especially unbearable.

That's not my experience. I have always found the trains to be of an acceptable level of comfort.

I don't see Manchester to Leeds as one of the options under the list of advance station fares. Would you be able to screenshot this for me?

If it's northern rail it.ll be the one via sowerby, todmordon, rochdale to Manchester Victoria, I can find tickets for £3 each way.
Last train of the day runs around 7pm and it's hourly, caught the train a few times, off peak its regular 241 travel
It's a long scenic train ride and perfect for take a push bike on
