Ignore Stan. It's a good point that it's a bit of a waste of a hi def screen.

Yeah...not really.
The i5-6200u has more than enough processing power for the average computer user. Sure, it'd be useless for playing modern AAA games or other high intensity workloads, but that's irrelevant as this laptop clearly isn't designed for those kind of tasks.
For browsing the web, doing office work, playing back 1080p video etc the i5-6200u will perform admirably for years to come.
In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if in lots of cases the relatively cheap, plastic body of this laptop fell apart before the CPU became so outdated it struggled with basic day to day computing tasks.

Any idea what processor this has,, the main title and the specification read different (i5-6260U vs i5-6200U)
Also does this have a graphics chip or is it on board?

It's a misprint, it's actually i5-6200u.

The speeds match the 6200u and it's the cheaper of the two, so that one.
On board graphics 520

Is this TN or IPS? My current laptop is TN, and watching movies/shows on it, is not a great experience.

It is definitely TN at this price.

15.6" screen.
I suspect the battery is the drawback - 2-cell polymer 30WH battery is not going to give much time is it?

the u at the end of the processor stands for ultra low power consumption. the processor will be **** and the notebook is designed to be light and mobile. rather than the traditional laptop which was designed to be portable.

The chip gets a score of 4000 on Passmark. That's plenty fast enough for a normal laptop.
