I am pretty sure that the lifetime guarantee is only 2 years as this is the amount of time a socket is expected to last in this set. Still a good price..........

I wanted to get a set for my son - but all the sockets are 12 sided, I personally hate using them - if only they were 6 sided as I have a lot of halford pro sets and they are really good quality, still own the set my mum bought me 25 years ago -I will wait for a better set! (still got a week ans a bit)
