I have just bought this instore yesterday after trying to find the cheapest ~50" TV and saw this.
I have it setup now and its a great TV. Very clear image and very light
is on my wall.
No its not a brand, but Tesco have great customer services with quick replacements (recently had my laptop packup and they replaced within 3 days or offered full refund)
If you can find cheaper LED, tell us about it by submitting here. I searched for an hour and couldnt find cheaper.
Thanks All Merry Xmas

Really? My Xbox seems to work perfectly fine on my obsolete HD TV.
Are you sure you're not just talking millennial ****?

I wouldn't hesitate to buy if it looks like that  Real gem!
Yeah I saw that, but apparently Toshiba isnt a brand really when it comes to Laptops and TVs.
I also note thats X Display so could have marks and scratches....I dont think I would have gone for that.

As for TVs, you're quite right, as for Laptops, they're still ok...

In my description where the laptop failed was a toshiba and why I used it. had lots of issues with it. Bits of plastic coming away from CD drive, poor hindges on it and starting to crack, overheats and recently died completely. Looking at recent reviews of tosh laptops, they dont seem to hold their weight against chearper brands like acer etc.

It all depends if you're going for budget ones or the mid/high range.
I used to fix laptops and Toshibas were pretty rare to visit my " surgery table"

True, was a £500 laptop. But from what I read you buy an Acer and its 90% samsung parts one year and 90% unbranded chinese stuff the next. I hear they do the same with TVs with last years technology LG screens making their way into most cheap brand tvs the next
