Was looking for a batch of batteries....that will power my dancing Xmas santa and Snowglobe. Not to mention that cheap tack...that I bought my kids.

Maplins also selling through amazon.
but due to the whole tax avoidance and general anti xmas giving attitude, decided to buy direct from maplins.

I got a pack of 16 AA's from poundland. So giving you 96 batteries for £6. Been using these Kodak ones for a few years now, they seem OK - especially for toys. Don't mind how often new batteries are needed at that price.

You can get a LOT of rechargables for this price and will last infinitely longer. 7 day shop's own brand are cheap and quite durable for the cash.

dont waste time on Kodak from poundland, they are also zinc. they do 6 alkaline for. £1, which are ok.

wilkos seem to have Zinc Chloride batteries on there which are mega cheap but looking online, Zinc Chloride have half the energy density so last half the time perhaps?

if these batteries have to be inserted in the danger zone as indicated it's lucky their AA's and not those big square mothers.
