In this age of 4k tv and Hdr, so many are throwing away perfectly working full HD tv like this. Instead of wasting £179, just look for second hand on ebay and other give away websites . You will be surprised you can get a TV like this for free or nearly free.

Great bed time story bro!
....moral of the story is...not to dismiss deals like this just because someone says you can get one for free if you sit and watch eBay listings for a few days / months / years....
You should now prove a point and give your TV away for free

That's a cracker. Personally holding out for hopefully 200ish 49" in the New Year.

I got the 49" version earlier in the year for £280 minus £20 voucher. An excellent monitor.
I doubt it will go below £250 on BF, really doubt it for new year as brexit currency problems will kick in by then.

Great deal. Can't find full spec of this model anywhere
Does anybody know if it's 50hz, 100 or 200hz?
I'm about to press buy but I've been told 50hz is too low for gaming and sports
Will I get motion blur at 50hz?
Please help anyone as I don't wanna miss this deal <3

hz is not the key to gaming - motion lag is ! However none of the specs on the tescos website detail this ! its a bit of a lottery as price is no indication. I checked with tescos customer service and if you are not happy with a tv purchased on line you can return to store (I bought £199 43" digihome on tescos website as some reviews said it was ok for for gaming ?) - best to take a photos on mobile as you unwrap so you can rewrap if required. so buy it ! try it ! If you like it keep it ! If not return it !

What a load of rubbish. I've been looking for a couple of TV's recently and one place I've been looking is Ebay, and only surprise I've had is seeing the stupid money second hand tv's sell for.

Arguable comment, you'd be looking at £80-£100 plus of its over 40inch... which is a lot to gamble if the used TV has a hidden fault!
