Samsung Galaxy S7 - Perfectly fine
Go for the 500MB deal with £99.99 upfront and £22 monthly
Airtime - £14
Device plan - £8
The phone element of contract is £8/month x 24=£192
plus the £99.99 you paid upfront.
Total - 192 + 99.99 = 291.99
Step by step guide for this deal
1) Follow the get deal button, purchase the £99.99 + £22*24 tariff.
2) Receive your phone and sim card.
3) Put the sim card into your phone and go onto myO2 (app or website) and from there request the unlock code.
4) Call 202 from the same sim card as it will make things much easier, go straight to the I want to leave o2 department or something like that (I think it's thinking of leaving us? Press something) as that will connect you with the right people much quicker.
5) Tell the person you want to pay your device in full and cancel the airtime. They will ask you why, tell them you don't think the airtime is a good value for money, but you want to keep the phone because you think it's an outstanding value for money. They will ask you for card details, you tell those details and that's it, they cancel it for you in about an hour.
6) You own the phone from that point, assumed that you have done this straightaway, there won't be any charges, otherwise you will have to pay as much airtime as you have used.
7) Unlock code will come through in about 2 to 48 hours.

Hi guys. Just to give you a heads up. I also got a similar deal with o2 refresh on an iPhone 6 last year and had a lot of problems. I followed all steps has expected, like ordering, asking for unlock code, then unlocking then cancelling the contract. All was fine then 1 month after the order got a letter to say the airtime contract was active, when I cancelled. Called CS who confirmed it was cancelled and ignore that letter. Next month got another letter to say 500 was outstanding and they would pass the debt to a collection agency. Called CS back spoke to a manager who confirmed Nothing was outstanding. Asked him to send me a letter to confirm. Letter received 4 weeks later. 6 months later, applied for a change in has supplier from British gas to first utility. Not accepted due to credit reasons. Checked with their CS who referred me to experian. Created an account and paid them, no free trial and found out o2 put a default notice on my account. Called o2 back fuming and they asked me to email their credit file reference team and prove everything. Sent them all evidence and they corrected my credit file. Please make sure you have something in writting from o2 they the phone is fully paid and nothing is outstanding. I would still go for this deal if I didn't have a perfectly good working s5. Good luck :-)

"Perfectly Fine" - a new marketing term no doubt coined after many lengthy meetings where greasy chain-smoking white-collars discussed the most effective way to lure customers into buying what would otherwise be called a "Used - Grade C" product.

Which means what? Fine to use but lots of marks?
Not new, not perfect and not almost perfect (and of course since a UK model, not dual sim).
Last year £260 was for a NEW s6 and this is for a marked S7, so don't cry

so then you order it then just cancel the airtime plan ? is that straight forward ?

Yes. As soon as you receive the phone give the CS a call. Say you want to cancel airtime and pay only for phone.

Exactly. Scratched. What a horrible experience unless you like second hand products that have not been looked after.
It works, you get a 1 year warranty, but you have to look at all those scratches.

Great thanks - does anyone know the cheapest option to unlock (assuming it comes locked ) - is it O2 customer services or 3rd party on internet ?
