I got the cheap Amazon offer but they cant seem to deliver it for the weekend even with being a Prime user. As far as i am concerned it was a nonsense offer they are not prepared to fulfil.

Can't use it til the day after pro releases, was hoping for a better choice of games bundled with it, still only got a 720p screen too myself so I'm probably gonna hold off on a new tele and the ps4 pro until this time next year

would say thats for the best as you aren't even going to get the benefit of improved framerates etc in 1080p

hard to tell as a lot of places only have a few units for sales as the rest are resevered for preorders
but that could just be sony's usual ploy of sending limited stock out

4k res 30fps
I only have a 1080p screen, but if many companies go the route of improved visuals I may fold and buy one when the price drops to around £250-280

Thats where ive settled on it too. There is a difference for 1080p owners but it isnt really that much better yet. Maybe in time we will see more benefits but as of right now I see no reason for me to buy it other than cant wait syndrome. Given time we may see more games patched and taking advantage of pro features etc, and while this happens more bundles will become available with more competitive prices. Waiting is a win-win for me on this one, as much as the child in me wants it now because its new. Most of the articles i read, DF and others, lean towards it being a luxury item only for 1080 owners, and more of an essential purchase for those who havent bought a Playstation this gen or own a 4k tv.
