I just rang sainsburys branch in uxbridge and the scouser on the phone who sounded a bit like Gerrard said "ermmmm nah we don't ave this deal here" he could only see sainsburys in that store selling the ps4 pro on it's own not with the game

I have seen this deal for an extra tenner in argos in case anyone is interested. I just want FIFA 17 mofos!!! lol

Picked up my Pro from game tonight and picked up Dishonored with it for £20. Not sure it's going to be my thing if I'm honest

May just cash in at CEX or similar before I even give it a go.

New 2TB hard drive now installed. Initialised and now copy all data from one machine to another over my gigabit home network.

So will have two machines with full games library. This is the way to copy games between machines from now on and to save myself downloading to two machines at once.

What paper was this and when does this deal start??

Another Dishonored 2 bundle... a game I'm just not hyped about at all. Give me a FFXV deal with the Pro already and stop messing about :smiley:

I sold my xbox one to go towards the one s and wanted it for the larger internal drive (got the 2tb) and the 4k bluray player as they were over £400 at the time. Seemed a no brainer. My TV has hdr too. I found forza horizon 2 was a bit smoother, horizon 3 looks great, haven't picked up gears yet. Depends what you want it for really. Considering they're around £200 at the moment with games, it's a great prospect - but not if you don't think you'll get the use out of it, which is exactly why I'm sitting on the fence about picking up a pro straight away. £300 with cod/bf1/Titanfall 2 and I would. Otherwise, I may wait til new year

Hah, that's exactly how I try convince myself things aren't needed day one. I try look back on my bad purchases, but new tech is addicting!

I ask 20 people their opinions, and tell them all the cool things. That I feel I've just convinced them to purchase it themselves. >.<

I need to be smart this time around, after the Wii U being a bad purchase at £400 (day one), and the 3DS being really bad day one also, and the Ps Vita followed. I should sit back and wait for it this time.

I don't want to get a 4k TV any time soon, as it'll be more than I can afford to spend along with the console. As well my TV is only a few years old and it's still an amazing set.

When the 1080p upgrade library grows, I'll consider it then. =]

Yes of course you need that, as do I....the question is, is it worth the price lol. I have the money saved for this and still just can't warrant it when I only have a 1080p TV. I sat down with my wife (who is really good with this stuff and understands my day one gadget addiction), and she said apart from Tomb Raider and Titanfall, that I am seeing an improvement just because I want to buy the thing, and she is right.

On Neogaf there is a whole thread with a lot of impartial impressions of the PRO, and generally the concensus is that as of now, for us lowly 1080p owners there is very little reason to buy one of these if we have a PS4 already (which I do).

My inner child is going mental but then I have no issue telling my 4 year old daughter she isnt having ANOTHER My Little Pony blind bag which might have the fifth Rainbow Dash in a row in it....so I need to take some of my own advice me thinks.

Similar boat too. Just sold my ps4 recently to put cash towards the pro. I also have an xbox one s though and there's no real killer app for me on the pro. Hoping for a black Friday deal around 300 with a decent game which I'll likely trade or I might just wait for horizon in Feb when they'll hopefully do a bundle...

Thats where ive settled on it too. There is a difference for 1080p owners but it isnt really that much better yet. Maybe in time we will see more benefits but as of right now I see no reason for me to buy it other than cant wait syndrome. Given time we may see more games patched and taking advantage of pro features etc, and while this happens more bundles will become available with more competitive prices. Waiting is a win-win for me on this one, as much as the child in me wants it now because its new. Most of the articles i read, DF and others, lean towards it being a luxury item only for 1080 owners, and more of an essential purchase for those who havent bought a Playstation this gen or own a 4k tv.

Can't use it til the day after pro releases, was hoping for a better choice of games bundled with it, still only got a 720p screen too myself so I'm probably gonna hold off on a new tele and the ps4 pro until this time next year
