Li-ion cells are normally about 3.6V, so a 18V battery would need 5 cells (and should be just over 20V when fully charged). 6 cells should result in a 21.6V battery...
However, I think the Lidl drill may have a 2Ah battery, compared to the aldi's 1.5Ah.

So you got a bargain somewhere that was available nowhere else, and you think that solitary one makes a deal which is available EVERYWHERE "cold" ?

Looks like it only comes with 1 battery which , to me, is a problem and I think it would be difficult (and expensive) to buy extra...
Check the IAN number before ordering, if it is not on the website check the instructions for an order form. Lidl recently started doing interchangeable batteries for some of their tools, so it is possible they may have changed battery designs.

and tradespeople need a decent drill. once you have owned a decent Makita or Milwaukee, you would never touch one of these things because they cant replace even a cheap ac powered drill.

Have one bought last year and charged, still battery charged and working powerful, hope they have not changed design but worth it
