Okay a heads up on Acer's Black Friday event. There's a banner on site showing "upto 65% off" on the 25th for 24 hours only. Which sounds good. We've been given a tip off on some of the prices, which are looking pretty decent right now. Probably lots more to come though. Delivery will be free which is always a Brucey bonus

A Predator 15 G9-591 for £1019.99!?!? What a bar-Oh wait. It's cheaper than that at John Lewis (£979), comes with a backpack and a free headset and a 2 year guarantee. And that's not even on sale or special offer. Not to mention it's a 970 and not a 1070, which you can get for an extra £80~.
Getting a bit fatigued with all these "Black Friday deals", that are shops trying to get rid of unwanted stocks at basically RRP.
A shame, as some items on here (Acer B326HK) are quite a good bargain, but they've mixed poor "deals" in there too. Tarnishes the sale a bit.

Black Friday is just another in a long line of stupid American things that seems to be creeping into my British way of life.

Exactly. Black Friday is 70-80% of the time just a scam.

Isn't this true for the most of the BF sales? I find about max 10-20% of the deals are what I would call cracking, the remainder average at best.

Those predator laptops and monitors should be priced under those numbers anyway, rip off brand.

what is the best monitor 2k (4k too heavy on my gpu) with gsync 27-28" monitor with high refresh rate for gaming. I'm looking for such monitor but it seems it narrows down to these acer and Asus brands. and the qc on both sounds dreadful.

As far as I know there's no such thing as a "2k" monitor.
Your selection for a good gaming monitor will basically be limited to Asus, Acer and BenQ though. Sometimes Samsung or LG throw their hat at it, but never seriously. The very best will be Acer and Asus.

I did. Been watching the prices of these specs. Never seen it as cheap as it was. Lowest I saw before was pre-brexit at £470 for the Dell 1440p 144hz gsync.

There's 1080p, 1440p, 4k and then 8k.
You probably mean 1440p.
And rather than asking a deals website what the best monitor is, it's probably best to ask google. Like this one: http://www.144hzmonitors.com/best-gaming-monitor-2016/
