Don't see why not - brings it to attention of people when other places are out of stock

You're right. Someone posting a deal cheaper than everywhere else at present on a deals site is ridiculous.

These are ridiculously priced, if anyone is sitting on the fence, don't, just buy one.

Is that some kind of payment method?

Would that be the deal that is now expired, and would less likely to have people look at your comment?

I wasn't going to risk or at 4 a.m. in the morning and picked up the elite with argos ebay @ £199 . I've missed way to many good deals to quibble over £20

bought from tesco this morning for 180. just before they put it up to 199.

is it worth buying this and selling my 500gb xbox one to cex for £101 making it £90 for a elite controller and extra 500gb storage?

I would say yes if an elite controller is what you are interested in

If your after a elite controller then yes pal. The elite has a hybrid SSD/HDD too so boot up time is better.

I bought one this morning from Tesco, sold my 500gb Xbox one on Facebook this morning for £120, sold within minutes.

Yes and the storage is a hybrid ssd on this I think

Trying to decide between one of these or a X1S. Am I right in saying that the Elite are backwards compatible with 360 games whereas the standard X Box One and One S aren't?

No there all backwards compatible.

I got an elite and set it up just now. Whisper quiet, elite joypad and 1tb sshd, other than that it's same as the S.. unless you have a 4k set.. Then it gets more complicated. I'll wait till Scorpio before I worry about the 4k stuff.
As someone who went through 3 xbox one s consoles with rattling fans, this elite is a god send. Literally barely audible, awesome.

Come on Amazon where are you with your Xbox one deals

Great price, still bought an S though as my system is on a floating shelf under the TV. It makes life easier not having the giant console plus power brick to hide in my case. Would have snapped this up though if it fit into my setup.
