This plus a £120 well reviewed Chinese phone are making me feel like a fool for paying £35 a month for 2 years for an s6!!!
Apparently (according to a customer services rep) some great 4g deals for new customers due out at the end of the month for new customers.

3G? Really?
Spose you get what you pay for.

Depends what you need. I found this deal for my mum as the most data intensive thing she does is WhatsApp.

EE 3G is really good, you can get over 20mbps if you live in good masts. Plus that doesn't matter because after 6 monthly payments on life mobile, you can upgrade to 4G

Totally agree. Been doing that for past 4 years. I can also change/upgrade my handset for another £120 annually with the latest models and still be quids in! The brand snobs are really jealous now.(and stuck to a mediocre data plan).
Life mobile are OK for what they offer with minimum fuss and call centre is more knowledgeable than the mainstream gougers.

What do mean you can upgrade to 4g on life mobile after 6 months?

After 6 Monthly Payments on your 30 Day Contract, you can call them to upgrade you to a 4G variant of the Network

I would expect a good speed if I actually lived in a mast!

Interesting. I was looking at Three deals but their 4G coverage around here is nothing compared to EE's. My only concern is - do Life customers get as good a service as EE customers?

No, they don't. I used Life Mobile for six months and their data went from being really great to hardly ever working in north Hampshire. I suspect that it's being throttled, and there were a lot of signal issues when an EE sim in the same place was fine.

4g never comes, many promises I had before I gave up

4G is available once you've qualified for the upgrade. I'm on their 4G plan and it's solid so far.
