This plus a £120 well reviewed Chinese phone are making me feel like a fool for paying £35 a month for 2 years for an s6!!!
Plusnet usually are a easy company to get discounts from, I've had my broadband with them for a few years now and I've never paid full price, currently pay £2 pm for unlimited.
Ive read existing bb customers get double data, so 1gb 4g for £5pm and 2gb 4g for £7.50, I presume they will let you have the £10pm deal as well

Agreed re Plusnet. I was with them for BB for 13 years until this summer. Only reason I left them is that I wanted Fibre and the BT cabinet I'm connected to is in the 'no hope of getting Fibre in the next decade' category. A PITA as all my neighbours are attached to a different cabinet which offers Fibre.
I've pre-registered with them, see what it's like. I can't see any details on the page advising if they will allow tethering though. Not something I use much but useful to have on those occasions when the tablet is the better option.

I'm tied in to a cheap fibre deal with Plusnet until July 17. Hoping for a good deal for my two Life SIM's.
Do you have a link for this double data deal for existing customers?

I'm on the Life 4g deal 500mb for £4.95 a month prices seem very similar to Plusnet but all the same company really.

Ordered one yesterday. I'm with vectone at the moment. Been good but looking for more data for a few quid more. Was paying £10 pay and go for 3gb data, 3000mins and 3000 texts. Was really good.
Giving this company a go and see how good they are.

Looking at the rest of the Plusnet packages, they are very, very average, compared to the current Life Mobile tariffs!
I see that there's no mention of discounts for existing Plusnet customers, but part of me tells me that if I want to get a decent Life Mobile tariff, I'd better do it right now, rather than wait for the allowances to drop due to Plusnet's greed!

I've been with life for over 6 months, I currently pay £5.95 each pm for 2 sims, the third one was discounted by 20% (£4.50) when I requested an extra sim a week or so ago.
I already have plusnet bb and phone line, so there may be further discounts down the line

the Three deal of 4GB uld mins for for £9 seems better its also 4G and once you recive the sim, you can upgrade to 8GB for £12 a month, add in cashback and fact its 4G its a better deal, only downside is 12 Months contract

technically no, there are more minutes, texts and data in the 4G than their current website packages but saying that no one ever paid the Life websites prices always cheaper through the brokers like this deal.

I was offered 4g when I asked for an extra sim a couple of weeks ago on top of 2 sims I already have, I declined and got the 1.5gb (3G) data 1000 min plus 5000 text plan for £4.50 pm

No, they don't. I used Life Mobile for six months and their data went from being really great to hardly ever working in north Hampshire. I suspect that it's being throttled, and there were a lot of signal issues when an EE sim in the same place was fine.

Apparently (according to a customer services rep) some great 4g deals for new customers due out at the end of the month for new customers.

Interesting. I was looking at Three deals but their 4G coverage around here is nothing compared to EE's. My only concern is - do Life customers get as good a service as EE customers?

many a times i see friends who have a £600 plus phone with a 2gb sim plan! paying in total over 24 months something over £1000
i have a 20gb plan and a decent, well reviewd chinese phone and over two years ill pay in total less than £350
about a third of the cost

Totally agree. Been doing that for past 4 years. I can also change/upgrade my handset for another £120 annually with the latest models and still be quids in! The brand snobs are really jealous now.(and stuck to a mediocre data plan).
Life mobile are OK for what they offer with minimum fuss and call centre is more knowledgeable than the mainstream gougers.

EE 3G is really good, you can get over 20mbps if you live in good masts. Plus that doesn't matter because after 6 monthly payments on life mobile, you can upgrade to 4G
