Heat added. This got some heat back in August for a much higher price. Seems like the tv has decent reviews too. I would hold off until Black Friday though (just in case).

Only the standard 12 months. If John Lewis sells this TV, you can request a price match with their extra warranty.

Anything not UHD premium or one of Sony's equivalent sets is a waste of cash imo.
Does make me smile when manufacturers say it will support HDR with a 'software update'

Very good tv for the 'PRICE' so what is wrong with updating software? Most appliances need update as soon as you get them working !!!

I was wondering how good this would be as a computer monitor. The short answer is that it would work well.
I found a review (in Spanish) which checks the features which are important for use as PC monitor: 4:4:4 chroma and input lag. It supports the former in all 60 Hz modes and the latter appears acceptable (if not great).
Seems like this model is an Argos exclusive. Heat added all the same. The 'short' warranty is a worry but I thought that about the panny Plasma that is still going strong ...that I bought 7 years ago from Comet!

Which would be better this or the Phillips 43PUS6401 I am stuck between the 2. Leaning towards the Phillips as it has Android. Thoughts?

Definitely this, Philips are a bit second rate nowadays. Personally I would only buy an LG or Samsung TV these days.

If you can go to the Philips PUS6501 AVForums say it's quite a good tv!

(heat added!)
Edit another review seems to indicate the input lag is even better than the 40ms stated by the first review
