EDIT:
Both myself and another user have found that the RAM is 12gb not 8gb.
Although showing OOS online, users are still buying this instore without a problem with some people in the comments saying that stock instore is still at old price but you get this price if you ask! Although it seems hit and miss whether you get 2 years or 3 years guarantee.
Just bought from John Lewis in BF sale. Seems like a great deal for a full HD screen and fast(ish) processor)
Shame it only has a HDD and not an SSD :disappointed:
My first ever deal post

Passmark Score
AMD A12-9700 - 4100
Intel i5-5200U - 3478
Intel i3-5005U (in the Dell i3 laptop deal) - 2905
AMD is Quad-core while the Intel CPU's are Dual Core. So in summary the AMD A12 is the better CPU

It is very similar in terms of spec but this one comes with a THREE YEAR John Lewis guarantee which they email to you straight away. The £30 extra over the ASUS makes this worth it, I think.

Great 1st deal. May I suggest you add retailer to title? Not least as JL will get u some heat. Also a copy paste of the full spec will add more heat. Some on here want you to cook the meal for them!
EDIT: Also add FHD & screen size to title - all a game of attract the hot votes and dodge the cold ones. Enjoy your laptop!
