Hi - this is not the Apple upgrade programme you will own the phone after 20 months
I was looking for a good deal to buy an iPhone 7 outright but saw this programme on the Apple site ( the links on the bottom of the first page on mobile - click on the link where it says "You can also choose to make low monthly payments without AppleCare+.")
Works out a good way to buy the phone outright but spreading the cost without any interest.
Looks like it's in store only
Hopefully this helps someone who is looking
Thanks

It's the way of the new ' must have' consumerism world we live in. I must 'upgrade' everything I own every 12 months because the next year's model is slightly shinier, slightly bigger/smaller has 1gb more storage capacity and can switch between app's 0.0000000000001 of a second quicker, oh and i can tell everyone how much better my life is because of all the carp I own! :disappointed:

iPhone Upgrade program. I have it too. If you don't cancel the AppleCare, then after 11 months of payment you can hand in your current model and receive the new one that will come out next year, and carry on paying monthly. In the end it 'feels' like a £38-ish (depending on which model you buy) subscription that gives you 'always the newest model, with AppleCare.

So you pay £38.00 monthly then after 11 months it comes to £450 you give your phone back and get a new one why not just keep it as it's only £599 anyway

if you're worried about cost vs latest product then you would save money and buy android (be oneplus for £335), if you're really worried about cost then there are very good Chinese android phones on here for £130.
Apple purchasers tend to go for style over function (remember when the 3s announced cut and paste as a new feature replacing the pen and paper method of earlier versions) ignoring the fact that 99% of new functions are software (although I notice some new software functions now being tied unnecessarily to hardware upgrades).

This is how I got my iPhone 7 128gb. £49 up front and 20 * £32.50 interest free (£699 total). It's called iPhone Payments Program,
The upgrade program which includes AppleCare is different.

I've been looking to get this deal for the Plus, so can the AppleCare be cancelled? I thought it's something you have to stick with for the whole duration (20months)
