This is full HD 23.8" IPS monitor, from a well known manufacturer, for under £100, and with a two year guarantee included, which seems a very good deal. I have purchased it to use for photo editing.
I ordered this yesterday from John Lewis at £109.95 and I am awaiting delivery. Since then, Curry's have lowered their price from £149.99 to £99.99, and John Lewis have further reduced their price to £99.95.
I have now submitted a price match claim to John Lewis to match their latest price reduction.

Actually just found on HP website it's 8ms response time, not ideal for gaming!

Decent deal. 2 x HDMI but no Displayport. Also no VESA mount, for those who care

What's the response time and refresh rate on this? I.e. would it be suitable for gaming?

JL site says 5ms response time and wall mountable...?

It is wall mountable, but apparently it needs an optional special bracket which slots into where the desk stand fits, the optional bracket can then be attached to a Vesa bracket.
Due to the slim profile of these monitors, it is probably not surprising that the manufacturers are a bit wary of fitting Vesa mounts, the top section of the monitor is only 15mm thick, so there would not be much room for error in fixing screw sizes.
The monitor has just arrived, I have also just received an email from John Lewis stating they will be refunding me £10 to match their price reduction from the £109.95 price I paid yesterday.

Good job JL are making up the warranty shortfall, a default of 1 yr is pretty poor.

My son is getting Alienware for gaming off his dad, he wants a spare monitor in our house will this do the job?

Not recommended for gaming, I'm pretty sure a gaming monitor with 144hz refresh rate will take advantage of his hardware so he can play with super smooth framerates.

Good deal, the 22in is usually £120, this monitor looks quite stunning in the flesh too.
