Looking thru the deals and noticed Wickes are doing Hive 2 with installation for £199.00 which is already discounted by 20% but then if you enter the code BLACK20 you get £20 off that and for the savvy go thru Quidco for a potential 2.2% off that also. Think thats the cheapest at the moment with installation?

Better check if hive is fully functional only with British gas.... might be the case that you'll have to always be with BG to get the best out of hive

Also BG will fit it for £150 if they are in your house to fix another boiler problem or to do annual boiler service etc

Unfortunately there is no guarantee that they'll offer it as some have testified here on HUKD

Not saying you are wrong, maybe it's chance some people get this deal but I asked for this as part of my annual service and they said no, would have to book a separate appointment so I have them coming next week :disappointed:

No it works with ANY supplier...says so in the blurb

Does it say all the features will work for any supplier or just the basic thermostat function... Read somewhere that if changed supplier then it will be no better than a traditional timer/thermostat although that may have been about 1st gen Hive...

It makes no difference who supplies your gas and as to the functioning of this or any device in the same way your cooker doesn't heat food slower/faster because you've changed supplier
