no. they wrap it up to look like a whole duck but it is just a crown but great for doing home made crispy aromatic duck!

Whole Gressingham duck in Sainsburys for £8 standard price atm. Not sure about the crown. But it's easy to cook. Just chuck the whole thing without packaging if you want in the oven for 2hrs, sprinkle bit of salt and just wait a little before serving.

I had one last week, they are not like the Turkey crowns you buy where you only get the crown. This duck crown comes on the whole duck carcase and you can cook in the bag for the most part then cut out the top of the bag to brown and crisp up the crown. Very nice duck, but you end up with a big bag of bones. I ended up with 600g of waste out of the 900g "crown" so for me messy and not very good value.
