Got the silver version for £75 from Asda 3 years ago. The coffee tastes great when mixed with a little ground unicorn horn.

This is a quality machine, great feature is that you can use ground coffee.
So after midday I grind up some decaf beans and use them for a great tasting coffee.

Had this machine for about 5 years and its great. Important to keep the machine descaled. Makes a difference to the taste of the coffee and also how long the machine will last you.

...and running the water through a Brita filter goes a long way to keeping the scale to a minimum, takes our water from a solid 4 to 1/2 which gives you a lot longer before the descale light starts bugging you.

Bought this machine for £199 almost 3 years ago and it's made at least two espressos every day without fail.
Excellent bit of kit.

Bought the ESAM4000 (black version) a couple of years ago for £104 HERE and it's been a great machine, pumping a couple of espresso's every day since.

Can only echo everyone else. Bought this for £199 about 5 years ago and it's one of the best thing I've ever bought.

Could I ask how much it cost to have serviced, where you sent it and what the service involved? Cheers.
