Could be someone posted it already but it seems a fantastic deal for I7 with 8GB ram.

I can assure you that, even as a woman, 2 inches makes very little difference.

Well I have checked the service manual, and sadly it only has one m.2 slot which is occupied by the Wifi/BT module, so it means you cannot simply add in an m.2 SSD. You will have to replace the installed 2.5" hard disk, bit of a disappointment, but given the saving on offer here not a deal breaker. Also adding a further 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM is only £41.17 from Crucial presently.
I've bought one, after doing the research, thanks OP.

I'm interested to know why people like touchscreen laptops. Surely having an oily finger smudged screen isn't ideal for viewing the screen.

Hehehehe, JOIN THE CLUB!!.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, remind's me of my OWN HP Laptop I bought from back in the day for MORE than the current OP's stated price, and for only 15.6 inches, and NOT even 17.3 inches at the time?!.
And that PERMANENTLY buggered up on me in a window of less than 2.5 years!! (to say I was slighty 'MIFFED' is an understatement?!. :-(
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, yes, stay AWAY from that Brand!!. :-(
UNLESS your hooking up the HP 'Business end' Laptop's and the like? (otherwise FORGET IT ..... ) YEP!. :-)

Seems like a lot of computer for the money. I'd go for this to replace my desktop. Not fussed in portability etc. Decent for gaming? As in games from five years or so ago?
