For the price of this, just buy a cheap saw and cut 11 inches off. :stuck_out_tongue:

I have this tv and an expensive Sony from John Lewis 18 months ago and I can't tell the difference in picture quality . So I will never spend that sort of money on a TV again.

i just bought the 49inch version (not smart) a couple of weeks ago. going to return it tomorrow. its slow to respond. remote control works as and when it wants to. sound was very tinny untill we found a " surround sound" button in the sound menu, which isnt actually surround sound but it did make it better. a bit more meaty for the lack of a better description. the final straw is that when we are watching netflix weather its through our roku box or our you view box, the sound cuts out when people arent talking. (Hard to understand i know)
Whilst watching american horror story we noticed that if people stopped talking it was as thought the tv speaker turned off or muted untill the next person spoke, even if there was background noise of birds or cars on the road, the sound would just stop. its that bad that sometimes it doesnt always start again until after the first syllable of the first word spoken by the next person in the conversation. Which is really really annoying if they have a shorts reponse in the conversation because then you completly miss what they say in reponse.
SORRY for the long winded comment but think its worth you keep your receipts and possibly the tv boxes for the return trip to tesco. if this happens to you too. and before people ask....No, its is definitely the tv thats the problem. and yes we checked the batterys in the remote controll lol.
on the plus side the picture was to my satisfaction. :/
