Seriously?? Moronic behaviour? It's not like I'm driving a car whilst 5 times over the limit with a small child in the back!
I actually found out about the said service on this very forum 3 years ago. Strangely after that person put about it I don't remember them being told to "shut up fool"
And the service is still going strong!!

If I buy this and plug it into a tv and don't install anything on it, and don't spend any further money on it, will I get to watch anything?
In other words do I need to buy a subscription to something in order to make any use of this?

Only the amazon features need a subscription.
You can download apps from the amazon store (very small library). Or you can side load things onto it (fairly easy), kodi, Google play store etc.

Have a look at YouTube about installing kodi onto it, once kodi is on there YouTube kodi programs (example pulse) once you have somthing like that on there it's endless amounts of free movies and tv

Installing kodi on this will bring you a ton of content. I use SportsMania on mine which costs equivalent of £1 a week and I don't think I'll ever need sky sports if you know what I mean

Was £20 during Amazon day. Surprised they haven't matched that price, maybe on Friday they will.
But as the op said, just a price match to Argos.

Have ordered from Argos. If Amazon drop further I'll get it and have Argos refund me. Shame Amazon don't refund the difference anymore when they drop their prices.

A bricks and mortar store (Argos) price matching an internet only site (amazon), even JLP T&C dont allow that.
