It's been this price twice so far, once in August and then in September. Seems like at the end of every month they dip the price down to £299, this time they've delayed it for "black Friday sales".
Battery life is only 4 hours and it's difficult to find up to date reviews on it (There's at least 4-5 models with the exact same name but different specs). RAM is also DDR3 and the laptop is quite heavy at 2.8kg.
Decent deal, but considering it's been this price several times before I wouldn't call it special or a must buy. Will keep on waiting and see what other deals "Black Friday" throws up.

Maybe to save on battery life? Maybe so that the system runs faster, considering the CPUs are usually quite weak? Maybe just because most laptops are budget tier and the creators need to cut corners somehow.
I haven't got a clue. Would be interested in finding out.
Also interested in finding out why laptops full stop are so expensive. Don't feel like the item justifies the price most of the time.

Voted hot, unfortunately :disappointed: before I realised it wasn.t full HD resolution 1920x1080, annoying!

You got a link to this? I can't find one on their warehouse deals.

In the age of 4k and Hdr, I don't know why laptop screens are still so behind. We can get 4k screen on mobile but not on laptop.

I am pretty sure i5-5200U is Intel HD 5500, which does support 1080p but screen is shockingly bad
Got excited a little at the spec, but res killed the deal, no wonder they push them at a "massive discount" price, which seems to work for most people that haven't got much of a clue
Opening post
£300 usually £400
Looks good to me!
