This is a double data deal that gives you 4GB instead of their usual 2GB.
A bit similar to what iD Mobile has but for those who prefer to be on EE network*.
*iD Mobile = Three
*Plusnet Mobile = EE

Who uses a mobile network to call overseas directly anymore? There's WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, FaceTime etc. All free.

Just worth noting that if you put any of the mobile networks into TrustPilot you get the same story.
So they're either all as $$$ as each other, or it's those annoyed people who tend to leave reviews.
TBH, between the two options it's a tough call. I think I've fallen out with most networks over the past 20+ years due to their incompetence and failure to do what they said they'd do.

Plusnet Mobile = LIFE Mobile rebranded. LIFE went from being awesome a year ago to being awful in recent months - that was 3G though.

Maybe local variations, but I can still get about 20mbps on Life 3G as long as I am getting a decent signal level.

I signed up yesterday, if you are life mobile you can get unlimited minutes as well for £10. 4g for a tenner a month with a decent allowance. Their customer service yesterday was great, and even when it was life they were good for me. Got to be worth a punt,if it's bad it's only a 30 day contract.

I think this looks like a really good deal. Wonder if they'll do a discount for two sims for same household? Heat.

What is up with their international calling rates. Maybe once a month I would call Austria, but £1 a minute. wtf.

I got 2 sim's on 1 account, on live chat they said they could give me 20% off the 2nd sim. But when I rang up to order, the guy said that because I'd ordered the 1st sim through U switch which was discounted anyway, I wouldn't get the discount, but they did the 2nd sim at the price of the 1st. It was only the £6 one though, think normal price is £7.45, so 1000mins, 5k tx an 1.5gb data for 6 quid ain't bad I suppose. Although I bought an add on last month of 500mb which was £2 extra, but now it's plus net I've noticed it's £4! Now. Think I might just upgrade to the £10 deal.

anyone know if this is any good - was about to change kids sim's onto new Tesco deal for £11 but this has way more minutes.
Tesco (02) vs plus net (EE) both 4g

Yeah all been good with me, good customer service and you can cap any over spend, they give you £5 buffer but you can lower it to a £1.

If you're with BT Broadband, BT Mobile's recurring deals with cashback and gift cards are regularly much better than this. I bought a couple of friends contracts for £8 per month with 4GB 4g data, 500 mins and unlimited texts which worked out at 11p per week after the kickbacks . I'm with Plusnet for broadband and these deals are new but really aren't that special. The only thing that is perhaps beneficial is the 30-day term.
