Excellent breakdown cover including home start and a few quid cheaper than going direct.

I don't think building insurance is compulsory, so I guess you could have been self insuring all those years?

I haven't had to call them out at all in a similar amount of time but am happy to pay £39 a year for peace of mind. Cheap price for what you get.

Great company, I broke down in Liverpool yesterday and got towed back to Kent no issues!

Nice 1, not for the fact you broke down but for the good service.

Yep - Only had to use them twice in about 8 years, but they do what they say they will.
Less than £40 for full recovery to a place of your choice plus home-start for you and your partner.
Highly recommended.

Twice in 8 years, so wouldn't it have been cheaper to not have breakdown cover and just pay for those two-off breakdowns...

Hasn't it always been this price direct from Auto-Aid?

Great company - isn't it only £42.54 without groupon though?

Other breakdown companies will cover you. You just pay them on the spot. Circa £150 for a call out for the big names. Obviously local ones will be cheaper. This is just another form of insurance that people like you are happy to pay for without realising they are being ripped off. I have a rule, only ever pay for a product or a service (nothing speculative), except car/buildings insurance as that's legally required. Keep paying if you like the peace of mind of course
