Well, the Xbox One compatibility is mentioned quite prominently on this page - http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/project-scorpio - I've also heard it reiterated in very public video interviews.
As for the HD audio, well, we've had this discussion before. Nothing is altered and it sounds nigh-on the same as if playing via a bluray player performing the same LPCM playback of HD audio.

Very tempted to get this deal. Shame the 1TB model is £60 more though as I'd prefer to get that over a 500GB one.

Yeah. Got a 1TB on original Xbox One. Decided we'll get this 500GB one and use the £60 on a 2TB external hard drive instead, makes much more sense :smile:.
Although now being asked if I want to wait till 28th to get a blue one from Argos or grey from Game. Id prefer one of those colours but, I dont think the deals will be as good.
