I have both. To be honest I cant tell the difference but I think the newer one is supposed to have a faster processor. I wouldnt say it is worth upgrading, just buy it if you want one in another room.

Great price for such a great product, but can't get over the £14 they where selling these new on a couple of occasions recently... I'm voting hot anyway, lol

bum .. got a £5 voucher for currys in-store as well .. would have been ideal for this :smiley:
grabbed one anyway. i watch a lot of youtube stuff on my main tv and the kodi youtube plugin is absolutely awful, so this + my iPhone will do nicely.

Well you have to download and install the official chromecast app to your phone to actually set up and activate the device itself. Once that's done, when you load up Youtube you can then connect to the Chromecast and stream the content from Youtube to your television.
