Shak 123 - My DS has turtle beach headphones for his xbox 360 - If I buy the cable you link to above on ebay would that mean he could still use them when he gets (hopefully) - a PS4 for Christmas ???

Yes robs should do if its the same model not sure about other models.
Good sound! Got a pair of these myself. Just remember to buy the extra cable required

how does this compare to the official ps4 wireless one for 49.99, anyone?
I need a headset, with mic. Not massively fussed if wireless or not.

These aren't surround sound afaik, which the Sony ones are, and it really does make a difference when you can hear stuff going on behind you. Even watching films is more immersive.
That said, if you're not fussed about having surround, this review may help
Probably the best gaming headset at this price range. I had X11 for 5 years, would be using them still if i wouldn't break them, now i'm using X12. Well satisfied from both models.

I brought the cable linked above but no one can hear me when i speak and the chat symbol doesn't light up when i talk but the xbox is detecting the mic as being plugged in. I can also hear my voice in the ear piece when i talk so the mic must be picking it up, any ideas ?
