Yes, too big. I literally just replaced my PS4 hard-drive a couple of days ago with the 2TB version, and using the old 500GB on the XONE as external storage bringing it up-to 1TB.
I picked one up from Sainsburys a few weeks ago at the same price, the stock has gone in my local but the shelf label is still there so may be available at other stores.

Got one of these 2 weeks ago, was £10 more at the time. Bought to gather together contents of 5 older drives. Quality seems good, size perfect, surprisingly not really that much bigger than my previous 1TB drives. Transfer rates seemed pretty good too.

Both being desktop drives which require their own power supply, portable ones like this Seagate are much more useful.
