Saw this tv in asda yesterday polariod 55inch smart led tv £250 people where buying loads Its a series 3 model
On the box it says usb playback and has hdmi ports also smart ie netflick youtube bbc iplayer itv hub ...etc
I knw its not 4k but who cares its full hd 1080p
Also saw a polariod 43inch led smart tv for £200 on the same shelf
Also goodmans sound bar for £30

I have had a 50 inch version for 18 months which I got for £200. cracking set for the price and the sound is decent enough

Got to totally agree. I got the non-smart 50" version for £189 2 years ago on offer. Great deal. Why pay more for a brand?

Me too and I assumed it was going to be barely tolerable but fine for gaming in my attic room den. frankly, If you are watching the screen from 15 or so feet away which I do you really can't tell it from much more expensive TV's.

Samsung don't even use Samsung panels ! Sure this is good for the price but viewing angles may be limited and going from a cheap 50" I had before to a mid range named brand 55" is like comparing chalk and cheese. I raved about the cheap screen because I had spent my hard earned money on it at that time, but there really is a difference if you honestly get to the nitty gritty. This is HotUKdeals nevertheless so heat.

I'm after a fair priced tv with same aspects and genuinely interested to go and look for this in my 3 locals but please can anyone tell me how good these are? I'm reading reviews and it seems lots of people are complaining tv goes on black screen after a short time for no reason. Seems like a capacitor issue but do not want to get on repairing in such short time. Any thoughts please?
