It helps if you shake it a few times as the picture is developing.

Ju6800 - 3 panels 3 different manufacturers for just the 55inch - another for the 50"and 60" and that is just one model. Which was actually last years higher end market.

Actually Samsung do use their own LCD panels in a majority of their tv's, true they sometimes use other panels though but it is very rare.

Yes you can cast. It has a smart wireless feature that lets you cast over any devices and using any app. Also tons of remote apps are available for it.

Got to totally agree. I got the non-smart 50" version for £189 2 years ago on offer. Great deal. Why pay more for a brand?

Me too and I assumed it was going to be barely tolerable but fine for gaming in my attic room den. frankly, If you are watching the screen from 15 or so feet away which I do you really can't tell it from much more expensive TV's.

I bought a 50" polaroid TV from asda in July 2014,think i paid £280 with a 3 year guarantee,I've been happy with the TV set for the price I paid, only issue for me was the sound which I thought was awful so bought a soundbar which made a massive difference. Id get the 3 year extra guarantee for around £40 if buying this.

Samsung don't even use Samsung panels ! Sure this is good for the price but viewing angles may be limited and going from a cheap 50" I had before to a mid range named brand 55" is like comparing chalk and cheese. I raved about the cheap screen because I had spent my hard earned money on it at that time, but there really is a difference if you honestly get to the nitty gritty. This is HotUKdeals nevertheless so heat.

I'm after a fair priced tv with same aspects and genuinely interested to go and look for this in my 3 locals but please can anyone tell me how good these are? I'm reading reviews and it seems lots of people are complaining tv goes on black screen after a short time for no reason. Seems like a capacitor issue but do not want to get on repairing in such short time. Any thoughts please?
