Just taken out a home insurance policy with John Lewis at quite a competitive price. Deal breaker was a free Nest smoke/ CO2 detector worth £89 which will be going straight on flea bay!

I live in a three bed detached house no claims etc and it was £107 buildings and contents for 12 months. Complete no brainer with the Nest thing thrown in!

Any idea how long it takes for you to get the nest smoke detector as I've already done this ?

states will be dispatched within 60 days of the policy start date - so maximum should be 2 months

Damn, best I've got is £21/month for building only. But I'm a 3 room endterrace. Going to try this, pretty sure theres some TCB too.

Wow im doing something wrong. Maybe its my area but i have alarms/locks . Though its end terrace so maybe why.
