Yes, I agree. Sorry if my post wasn't clear - I was agreeing with you that the Xbox 360 version of Gears of War 1 that comes from the codes *isn't* the Ultimate Edition.

And if I buy the code for the collection would the first one be the x360 version playable on xb1, or would it be the remaster?

The collection includes the original Xbox 360 game, not the remaster.
