Prefer the video quality offered by this new Rockchip SOC at the moment over the current AmLogic series but no TWRP or OpenElec LibreElec support and quite possibly a locked bootloader.
Note that the RK3299 has the Mali 400 and not the Mali 450 all too commonly advertised.

-If youre into not paying for movies, you can watch them using Kodi which by the looks of it comes preinstalled on the box.
- Browse the internet (you can connect wireless keyboard or mouse to navigate more easily)

- You can install install console emulators and play some retro games

That latest RKMC builds from Rockchip themselves does (At least with the RK3229 or other SOC firmwares that have been updated to support the RK Codec).
Both have the working Rockchip codec working well (finally).
For future Kodi builds it does appear that Rockchip will now be using the correct API procedure that will allow Kodi to run without the need for forks.
