if you have mobile internet you neither need WiFi access nor TV
you take your tablet or laptop and it's most of the time better than their ragged televisions
or you might be able to connect your device to their telly by a HDMI cable or Chromecast
or why don't you read a book or listen to audible for a change?
I'm sure you don't go Edinburgh to watch tv

I don't understand some of the comments to be honest. It's £20. It's not going to be luxury hotel quality.
But for somewhere to crash after a night out.... You couldn't even get a hostel for £20 and definitely not one bang in the centre of Edinburgh.
And anyone who pays to stay in a hotel and then spends the time watching TV or surfing the internet is bonkers in my mind anyway. If you need to check things online go and buy yourself a coffee at one of the many coffee shops.

Sounds similar to the Tune Hotel at Haymarket. Stayed a room with no windows a couple of years ago it was actually OK. Felt a bit like sleeping in an office block. Next time I went back got a room with a window for an extra £5. Excellent location though and a third of the price of nearby Premier Inns.

The no window part is actually the biggest problem, for me, that is. But I'm not looking for a hotel in January anyway
