Not as arcade as need for speed but not as sim-like as project cars.
Somewhere in the middle but I'd say it was slightly more sim like than arcadey....

I loved it though and bought the season pass which is well worth the investment if you get it on a sale.

Not to mention a truck-load of trophies in the DLCs which are all fairly achievable with practice.

​It's much more fun than the last GT, which has become very stale. The game is nothing like the original release day reviews, it is like night and day. Hands down the best looking racer on the PS4. You won't believe the weather effects.

don't forget all the track DLC and some car DLC is free

think you still have to go into the store and 'purchase' some of the free DLC, it doesn't all appear as updates.

can you play local multiplayer on this?

It needed some serious fixing up! I never played it when it launched, but it's fantastic now. I have the Bikes DLC and the Season Pass too.
