Because it's like playing minecraft, watching minecraft, browsing minecraft and editing minecraft. If you enjoy it then you don't need FHD or UHD screen.

Low RAM, poor warranty, so no confidence in the quality of its products. When warranty runs out, do they even talk to you? Worst service I have ever encountered and many laptops unreliable.
Compare US to UK prices and see how UK users were historically ripped off after VAT is taken in to account for these Chinese built machines. Now the pound is so low the gap has finally diminished

I've had various brand of laptops and PC's and have always found Dell to have the best build quality and have had no problems with after sales support unlike with HP laptops.

For over £300 I'd expect 8GB of RAM.

On a laptop with a CPU 2 series older you will get 8gb ram but the ram would also be slower.

I can't recommend a laptop with less than FHD resolutions... else this would have been a good price! :disappointed:

I am not understanding, but why can't you recommend a laptop with less than FHD resolution?

Is it just me or is this link not working

No it's not just you, for some reason the link isn't working. Go to Dell Website click on Inspiron laptops, NEW 15" and select the £375 laptop. Change warranty to Premium for free then enter the code SAVE50 at checkout.

Motherboards consistently failed. I had 3 replaced on business Vostro range. Common faults which they refuse to accept. When warranty is over they refused to speak about any issue. Every other organisation I dealt with will attempt to help. If a solution involves a repair they may charge. Dell simply stated, no warranty. We will not offer any help. If a repair is required they expect me to waste my time undertaking the repair myself spending 1 hour on a chat when they should pick up and repair. The sales staff were rude and arrogant. The other issue is they appear to be operating and invoicing outside England, from Ireland, making small claims court claims harder.

He excludes 90% of Windows laptops. He will soon say they should all have 4K screens.

Mind you, it is not actually giving you i7 performance, because it is an i7-u CPU, designed for tablets and ultra-portables. Then there is the lack of a touch screen, only HD resolution, the lack of SSD, and the single channel RAM. Overall that looks pretty mediocre to me.

Its not an i7 CPU. Show me a touch screen laptop with the same spec ram and cpu but dual channel and an ssd for the same price...Didn't think so.
