Was looking a cheap bit of memory to give my Dell a bit more oomph and came across this, seems a bargain (I bought 2!) about £20 else where. Pity about the 1-2 month delivery but I'm in no hurry.

do you still need to ensure you buy matched pairs if you are going to add memnory?

I believe matching pairs of memory are not essential but if your motherboard supports "dual channel" memory then only matching pairs will run in dual channel mode ie faster.

I did a little bit of seaching and it seems you're still best buying sets.

Heated, superb price. Making me consider a new build (my current PC only takes DDR3 so can't use this). 16GB DDR4 (4x4) for under £20 is a very nice start! Now just need a good deal on a CPU and board....

Ordered 5. No doubt a mis price since these are £20-30 new per DIMM.

Agreed, but at £4.99 I'm not going to worry too much when the 8GB kit is £50 :/

That link goes to "Corsair Value Select 4 GB DDR4 2133 MHz". The Corsair site says this "ValueSelect is our full line of standard DDR, DDR2 and DDR3 memory upgrade kits for home and office desktop and notebook PCs "
Looks like it's not DDR4.
