Was looking a cheap bit of memory to give my Dell a bit more oomph and came across this, seems a bargain (I bought 2!) about £20 else where. Pity about the 1-2 month delivery but I'm in no hurry.

Feel sorry for the OP, I'm sure he would have got it if he didn't post it here lol

It was obvious from the price that this was a glitch. Sometimes they'll honour them, but sometimes they won't. There's no use getting upset over it.

They have cancelled it like every one else. Amazon are getting really stingy it seems, seems like fewer pricing glitches get through these days. People have had them honour memory at similar prices, yet they cancel these. To a company like Amazon any loss taken on these (if there is any, probably just the price they buy them at) would be negligible, seems absurd to upset a load of customers over what is to them pennies....
I will be complaining for sure and might well follow up with an email to the CEO too as I'm getting stick of them cancelling stuff on me.

Good luck. It's in their T&Cs, and lets face it it's Amazon, there's nothing you can do about it no matter how many emails you send to the CEO.

Amazon sent me my 2x 4GB for £7 - when they should have been £23 each ie £46 (got 5 of the sets as did others here)

Ordered 4 before the price went back up.

How do people spot or monitor these particular price drops on eBay , I do not imagine it is via camel camel camel , as the person would need to have a price monitor in place for this particular item.

I assume you look for something you want and from luck you will notice a significantly lower price, pot of luck really.
Amazon have shipped mis prices before for low cost items so heres hoping.

I can't believe I missed this and I so religiously view HUK  .
Great deal OP, hope those that bought it get the goods.

true it always pays to complain.

Seems they noticed the error. Really hope they honour it though it's so cheap I'm sceptical though as it wasn't up that long the loss might be small enough for them to let it slip through (hopefully).
If they cancel I'll definitely be complaining. Doubt they would reinstate the order, but from past experience they will usually provide a goodwill gesture when pressed to, like a free 30 days prime or small promotional credit so all good (though I'd rather have the memory  )

Steeljedi, the HUKD force is indeed strong with you. I stand corrected.
Now, just need to ensure this is compatible with my laptop RAM - which is DDR3 as it turns out.

That link goes to "Corsair Value Select 4 GB DDR4 2133 MHz". The Corsair site says this "ValueSelect is our full line of standard DDR, DDR2 and DDR3 memory upgrade kits for home and office desktop and notebook PCs "
Looks like it's not DDR4.
Agreed, but at £4.99 I'm not going to worry too much when the 8GB kit is £50 :/

Ordered 5. No doubt a mis price since these are £20-30 new per DIMM.

Heated, superb price. Making me consider a new build (my current PC only takes DDR3 so can't use this). 16GB DDR4 (4x4) for under £20 is a very nice start! Now just need a good deal on a CPU and board....

I did a little bit of seaching and it seems you're still best buying sets.

do you still need to ensure you buy matched pairs if you are going to add memnory?
Steeljedi to tighty

I believe matching pairs of memory are not essential but if your motherboard supports "dual channel" memory then only matching pairs will run in dual channel mode ie faster.
