The cheapest this normally is, is around the £40 mark. Amazon have marked it down to £35 for the first time in ages, and is a great price for a 60.9% volume single malt scotch (Yes, its strong, and needs a little water). I would not expect this to get hot, but hopefully some of you whisky fans out there will spot this and grab yourself a lovely tipple for a nice price.
I'm not 100% sure what batch no. they are selling on Amazon, but someone mentioned they got Batch 55 in October. (cheers for the correction 634miyamoto!)
IWSC Awards Tasting Note: Very attractive aromatic nose filled with ripe fruit some sherry notes and a faint, gentle waft of peat. Rich and full in the mouth with layers of ripe fruit and sweet spice. Good oak and fine balance. Vanilla makes quite a show towards and feisty finish.

60%! Hot, that means you need to drink 2/3 less to get as drunk as you would on the 40% stuff.~

Love Aberlour so ordered this one as just finished another bottle of Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Heat added
Won't be adding any water to it though as for me it dilutes the taste and the initial "hit"

Me either. I will add a couple of chunks of ice though. That will dilute it more than enough....I just need to remember to drink it quick enough that the ice does not melt too much!
