Probably the same ones as Screwfix which are all part of the same company. These are very good. They don't whistle like some LED bulbs. The illuminated part curves round so that it allows light to bounce off the ceiling. Most bulbs only cover 180 degrees leaving a lot of shade. Nice warm light as well.

Has anybody actually compared them to the LAP ones in Screwfix?
The Screwfix ones are actually pretty good IMHO.

The problem with these less bulbs is they don't work with conventional dimmers... I ain't changing all the switches in the house.

Really? Are these really 60w equivalent or are these the same as cfd's ie the wattage thing is a complete lie?

leds are a lot brighter than a glowing wire and use a fraction of the energy so yes

Not a hot diall in my opinion.

Why are dimmable LEDs so much more expensive? How different is the technology? Something I've wondered for a while
I agree, have the cool white from Screwfix and am well pleased IMHO they are more that 60W equivalent, more like 90W.
The warmer temperatures give a lower perceived illumination.
