Doesn't seem too bad. I was looking at buying the V6 and they have this for £144 delivered after discount with 1 year guarantee.
They have other Dyson's, all come with different guarantees.

Hope this helps someone.

THIS Amazon review points out the differences. They seem to have different power ratings for the direct-drive cleaner head.
Extract from review.....
"The difference among the Dyson v6 versions:
Standard - has a 20w motorhead attachment, this is the weakest of the series and a crevice tool
Animal - same motorhead attachment as the standard. In addition it has a mini motorhead for pets
Fluffy - has all the above and one additional soft brush attachment specifically designed for bare / hardwood floors
Clean - has all the above but a more powerful 35w direct-drive cleaner head - which replaces the standard 20w motorhead.
Absolute - has the mini pet tool as above, a more powerful 50w direct-drive than the Cleaner, and oddly, a very plain / simple attachment with silicon wipes for hardwood floors instead of soft brush attachment. In addition it has a Hepa filter at the motor exhaust - this also makes it a little heavier. All this will make the battery work a lot harder than the lower end versions".

Typical petulance. I'm sure a lot of those who voted remain will not be happy unless everything goes wrong and they can all say 'I told you so'.
Imagine if everyone acted this way. What if everyone who voted Labour refused to have anything to do with any business whose leader voted Tory, or vice-versa.
This isn't a post for or against Brexit, I'm just sick of many of the remainers who still take every opportunity to moan.
Thanks for the deal OP!!

Bought a v6 total clean refurb a fortnight ago, totally new with 2 year warranty card in the box.
Would recommend that model and buying a refurb

Thanks for the heads up, I've been looking for a Dyson for a while now.
I live in a two bedroom flat, own one short haired cat and can't decide whether to get the V6 Animal, the DC39 Animal, the DC49 Cinetic Animal or the DC50 Animal upright.
I can't seem to find anything that compares them properly. As I only have a small flat with two carpeted rooms, I don't see the point in spending over the odds on a large machine designed for a huge house. However, the reviews of the V6 animal don't fill me with confidence (6mins charge on max suction, 20 on a lower setting).
Any Dyson connoisseurs or owners wish to give me their two cents?

Sure - I'd recommend a Miele :-)

great price, these Dyson cordless models (specially V6 / DC59) are excellent and best in business.
I won't say the same thing about their regular / cylinder cleaners as other brands are as good/better and usually cheaper (ex Samsung,LG,etc) but for cordless Dyson is the best.

Dyson 'sucks' in comparison to Miele. The Miele is just more practical, modern and powerful. Better value to go with Miele. People are just buying the familiar Dyson name most of the time.

Had both. Dyson is clear winner here. Nothing more to say.

I don't think the Miele vacuums are bagless, or are they? I just don't want to go back to the days that I need to shop in order to vacuum, and then one fine day you can't find the bags anywhere as your model even tough it still works perfectly well is no longer supported :disappointed:

Can anyone advise, is it worth the extra for the absolute and fluffy models?
