I'm also "an owner" and me and my lad use ours for a number of really well polished games. I'd say we've had more than our money's worth out of it. Spent a couple of hours on tropical freeze only yesterday. My advice.. Get this, Mario world and donkey kong and you're set for hours of fun and zero regret for the money handed over.

Does £149 for a USED Wii U still count as a good deal in 2016? Especially with NX on the horizon, and the PS4/XBox1 costing about the same...?

no way should these be £150 second hand when people are buying brand new Xbox One S consoles for sub £200.

The prices did drop really low in 2014, but no one bought it anyway. May as well make as much money as possible & increase the price if lowering the price makes no difference to sales.

The game prices are still very high, too. Only the 'Select' games are reasonably priced.
Dont forget that you'll also probably want to buy an SD card for it, too. 32GB aint nothing.
That said, if you do want a Wii U, this is sadly a pretty good deal. Used prices are kinda ridiculous at the moment as well.
I've largely given up on Nintendo because I think their products are consistently low value compared to the competition.

These should - and I'm an owner - be sub-£100 by now. Only thing we use it for is Star Fox (underrated in my opinion) and Youtube. Still, at least Zelda is (possibly) 'around the corner'.

you're not a shareholder in Nintendo though. Nintendo has a different philosophy to Sony or MS.

I wouldn't use them again either! Have ordered 4 supposedly new games from them in the past NONE were sealed and 2 of the ps4 discs were scratched and plainly secondhand. Though voted hot for your deal op as this item is secondhand.
