Joke? No. Meat eaters sticking their noses in on veggie threads with nothing but negative comments now that is a joke.

Since your comment has managed to find 4 likes, I'll explain for you. It's designed to be a replacement for chicken. So people who eat chicken, but don't want to anymore, can replace it with something similar. So they can reuse the same recipes. They could say something like "Meat-free Chicken substitute", but the "meat-free" part should really give you all the information you need.

I've tried quorn mince a few times to try and bring healthier. I find it awful. not just bland, it actually manages to ruin a bolognese or similar.
I have only used the 'chicken pieces ' once in a pasta bake for an easy meal. It seemed to soak up the flavours well and tasted fine

Can you please just make a separate supermarket thread like the sim / alcohol deals one etc. That way rubberbullets can just keep adding the new supermarket deals each week, and we can check the thread to see the new deals. As its posted by a helper I'm sure you'll be able to keep the thread at the top of the page.

There are better options around that dont contain egg, frys is one and meat the alternative is another.
