It's the same camera as the original, just a new design for the body.
This camera releases on October 13, 2016, the same day as the VR.

Why would anyone want to hack in and watch you? Granted people in high positions such as politics etc. do it but who wants to do watch some dude laid on the sofa eating chips!?!

Do you do the same to the camera(s) on your mobile phone?

I was moving around extensively in Space Pirates on a HTC Vive and had no issue with sickness once immersed!

It strangely reminds me of Rob the Robot and Wall-E.

Why have they not included everything in the box?
Utter madness.
Looking forward to the 13th to hear all the complaints about sickness though.
Are people even that aware that you have to take it very easy with VR to avoid nausea?
Have Sony rated the games for comfort? Had my Oculus for about a week now and some games can make you feel very sick. So do be careful.
Voted hot for the price.

I'd like to think that Sony have vetted every game released on PSVR doesn't cause motion sicken else it doesn't get released. Does Oculus do the same?

Got rid of my Oculus as it feels like the technology isn't quite there yet. Never experience any kind of motion sickness before but the Oculus is VERY dangerous and induces it after only a short game. Also the lenses get condensation quickly too. Overall it's a lot of money for a beta. I'm waiting on VR until it's much more advanced.

I've heard Vive is better than Oculus for comfort but I'll wait until a few gens have gone by.

i am still baffled to why this is not bundled with PSVR.

Not everyone would need one because there are a lot of Ps4 cameras knocking about already.

Because many people already have the camera and it would raise the cost. Easy, right?

Sickness in VR is more to do with motion, and it does depend on the person.
Try In Cell or Adr1ft . Taking off in Eve Valkyrie also makes me feel slight nausea. Even Lucky's Tale can cause some motion sickness.
Moving within a room environment is unlikely to cause much sickness.

just a word of advice... (and I'm not saying this with a tin foil hat on my head)
physically cover the camera with something when not using it. peice of black plumb tape. paper. anything.
that is all.
